Do we ever dissect who we are intrinsically? What is our origin? What matter are we made of? Is our life based on being benevolent or on being parasitical? Is our value system governed by hoarding money and basic necessities? We know we aren’t here in the flesh for an eternity, so why are we empowered by our wanton extinguishing of lives and ancient civilizations? If our faith was sanctimonious would we be in the business of policing history, and memory? Does cowardice embolden cruelty? What we need in this world are truth sayers, not manipulators. We need to do audits on our motivations before we say anything or do anything. When we expire our body returns to dust. Nothing separates us from the rest of humanity, including the animals and all other living entities. Naked we came and naked shall we go, no matter the pomp and the ceremony at our beginning and ending.
