Is what we were yesterday the same we are today? Growth is a continuous process. If we don’t grow, who we are dies at its core. Are we comfortable with stagnation because it supports our lifestyle and beliefs, regardless of however erroneous they may be? If we can’t comprehend that it is our aggression, exploitation and extraction of wealth from those we regard as the other, the dispossessed and the poor then we are averse to the suffering of our fellow human beings. Is it more important to worship money and possessions instead of being humane?
