Time is the hourglass that sits between life and death. While we live we should do so with reverence to ourselves, the Earth and every living entity. Living is a privilege we should not take lightly. We should remember that death is always waiting. It is just a matter of time. If knowing that we would die doesn’t make of us a more empathetic being then we would have squandered the most important asset at our disposal: time.
