When we are content with our status in life we tend to forget that there are other people who are living a life of penury on a daily basis.   How can be boastful of our wealth when all around us there is abject poverty, neglect and injustice.   There should be an equitable distribution of wealth, not one built on a pyramid system that is founded on the disenfranchisement of the poor.
