Control

Awareness

Are we aware of how we interact with others and what their assumptions of us are? If we did we would be concerned about how we impact the life of others. Life isn’t a fairytale, we are sowing seeds that will bear fruits. What we do always foreshadows us. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Envy

If you share your dreams with a person or persons and their advice is that you are good the way you are, you have to throw that person or persons to the curb. Envy can be a deterrent. Guard your dreams. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Entitlement

Some of us are opportunistic, we don’t recompense. We believe in the idea of exceptionalism and entitlement. But if we evaluate ourselves we would find that we are cowards who prey on those who can’t defend themselves. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Grievances

We all have grievances. For those that are unsolvable we have to let them go. To savour the present we have to let go of the past. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Let Go

We can’t change people. If theft, lying, cheating or predatory behaviour is their mode of conduct, we can mitigate the impact of their actions on our lives. Letting go of people and things that impede our progress in life gives us room to grow. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022
