Listen

We have to create space in our lives for listening. Our inner wisdom speaks to us constantly. It is only by listening that we become intuited into taking right action. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Breathe

We have to live in a space in which we can breathe. If we find ourselves in a constrictive environment it is time to let go. The question we need to always ask of ourselves is: Am I operating on the basis of free will? © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Tragedy

Tragedy opens the door to self evaluation, and within that space we can call forth our empathy. Without empathy we become brutes. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Centering

We have to create space to be alone and in communication with our inner being. It is only through quiet meditation that we receive intuition. All we want to know is within us. As we ask we receive. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Solitude

Spending time in solitude is an opportunity to become better acquainted with self. We cannot de-stress if we do not create the time and space for that to happen. It is only in stillness that we hear the answers to our questions. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020

The Company We Keep

If we knowingly associate with people who lack empathy and respect how can we be alarmed when they misuse and abuse us. We have to vet the people we allow into our space. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020

Control

We can’t control our beginning or our ending. The only space in which we have control is now. Now is where, by the choices we make, our present is foreshadowed by pain or joy. ©Norma Bobb-Semple 2020

Travelling Lightly

How much stuff do we need anyway,  a comfortable space, comfortable bed, space to exercise, space to mediate/pray, a collection of books, space to read, space to cook and space to garden.   When we don’t have a lot of accoutrements our choices become fluid and we can move with them. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020

Sharing

If you happen to share space with other people be respectful.  Do not try to usurp other people’s time, and space.  Work around other people’s schedule at all times. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020
