The Present

The past is related to the present, the future is dependent on the present. We have to sew the seeds in our present to be able to reap the fruits in our future. This present moment is pregnant with all the possibilities of our future. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Grievances

We all have grievances. For those that are unsolvable we have to let them go. To savour the present we have to let go of the past. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Reflection

Our past reveals who we are and our ability to repeat our transgressions in the present. If we aren’t regretful and remorseful about our past there is no redemptive quality within us. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Don’t Look Away

We cannot look away from the devastation that is occurring on earth. It doesn’t mean that because we aren’t presently affected we won’t be a casualty in the future. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Time

Now is the only time that is relevant. The past can inform. The future can be envisioned. The present is where the work is done. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Let Go

We can’t dwell on the why’s, the if’s and the but’s. We have to let go of our past mistakes and shortsightedness, be present at all times in every decision we make or action we take, resolving to act intentionally and with loving kindness at all times. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Decisions

We have to be decisive with the decisions we make in the present, because the decisions we make in the present affects our future for better or worst. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Informed

The past is the precursor to present. The lessons from the past can be instructive and informative if we let it be. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022
