Warrior

Don’t depend on someone else to fight your battles. You are the only warrior you need. © Norma Bobb-Semple

ToolBox

We need a toolbox with tools in our lives. Our tools have to include a space for respite. Intuition, self respect, moral compass, determination, honesty and accountability are all tools that we need to include in our toolbox. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Growth

We have to facilitate growth in our lives instead of traversing aimlessly throughout our lives. Without growth we will all be stymied. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Living with Integrity

Are we living with integrity? This is a question we need to ask ourselves before acceding to another person’s request and before committing ourselves to a course of action. Introspection is better than absolution. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Apology

We can’t apologize for being who we are. Irrespective of the opinions of others everyone is entitled to live their life according to their own dictates, as long as they respect the sanctity of all other living entities and sentient beings. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Know it All

Why do we think we can get into the heads of other people and interpret how they feel, what they think, and how they should act? Life is too short for us to busy ourselves with throwing projectiles into other people’s path. Death beckons one and all, we know not when. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Managing our Lives

We have to be the MANAGER of our lives. Whatever decisions we make has to be made with a clear mind and after deliberation with ourselves as to how it would impact our lives. Acting on the dictates of others undermines our free will. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Presence

Being present at all times in our lives isn’t a matter of choice but a matter of necessity. ©Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Editing our Lives

There comes a time in our lives when we need to self edit. We have to cast out the things that weigh us down, habits that are counterproductive and alliances that are meaningless. Our lives is ours to fashion as we please. The present is all we have. Tomorrow might never come. ©Norma Bobb-Semple 2020
