We cannot expect people to be rational about the choices they make. Most of us are selfish, selfishness engenders disrespect, a feeling of superiority and lack of accountability, an expectation of forgiveness without an iota of empathy for the distress we impose on others. Decadency destroys families and relationships. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Forgiveness

Instead of expecting others to offer forgiveness we have to ask ourselves what our motive is before acting on our impulses. We can only have expectations of ourselves, and we ought not to use religion as a shield. We have to think on everything we say and do. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023
