Entitlement

Some of us are opportunistic, we don’t recompense. We believe in the idea of exceptionalism and entitlement. But if we evaluate ourselves we would find that we are cowards who prey on those who can’t defend themselves. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Entitled

We have to get away from the feeling of entitlement. Greed needs no empathy. If we are tight fisted we have no right extending our hands out for someone else’s charity. The charade needs to end now. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2022

Mending the Tears

The tears I am referring to is not the act of weeping, it’s is the brokenness within us, like the tears in our clothing. The time for reparation is now because if we don’t repair the tear before it rends the results would be catastrophic. We have to mend ourselves, our bitterness, self aggrandizement, superiority, […]

Chosen One

Some of us believe in a sense of entitlement. There are no chosen ones. We are all created equal and we deserve living our lives without subjugation. We embody our creations whether they be evil or good. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020

Every action carries a reaction. You can only control your actions but how people will react is in another realm. © Norma Bobb-Semple […]

Bravado

When we unleash our brashness, arrogance and ineptitude on others it is not that we are showing how unmerciful and cruel we are; it is because we believe that our bravado would earn us the respect we seek and believe we are entitled to.   A life built on deception is like building a house without a […]

Takers

Some of us have a false sense of entitlement.  We live a parasitic life while looking upon our fellow sojourners as people who are non contributors to the greater good of society.   This earth is our home, though for only a short while.  Why can’t we in good conscience live with civility, while carving […]

Entitlement

All of us at one time or another held the belief that we were entitled to someone else’s love, affection and resources.  The only one that owes us an entitlement is the one that stares back at us in the mirror.   We are our own benefactor. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2020
