If you don’t have a backbone get one because the family you save might be your own. Your children learn from you, so don’t do a disservice to them by allowing ignorance or timidity to deter you from reaching for your goals.
Child rearing is not a life time commitment. Parents and children have obligations towards each other, in the sense that children have to pay it forward by providing for their own children. It’s all communal. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021
