Belief

This world does not consist of tiers. There is no higher hierarchy. Some of us crown ourselves as masters of all people and sentient beings because we believe that we are superior and all others including sentient beings are inferior. Belief is not the precursor to truth. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Disappointment

Disappointment rides on the heels of expecting other people to show up as their caricature. We believe in presentation. People wear masks and we have to rely on our discernment in order to separate truth from fiction. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

If we lift the veil that covers our eyes all lies will dissipate and the truth will be revealed. There is no higher […]

Sowing

Whether we believe or disbelieve in the tenet that we sow what we reap, that’s the order of the Universe. Look at the gardener, he sows seeds and the seeds germinate each after its own kind. We always reap what we sow. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

One’s Narrative

The narratives we are taught to believe about ourselves and those we term “the other” are the pillars on which we judge who deserves equality and who doesn’t. We have to confront our prejudices and cease adjudicating on who deserves to be denigrated or elevated. We are a God only to ourselves and no one […]
