Motive

We have to be discerning of our motives and the motives of the people who are in our inner circle. Ulterior motives are always at work in life. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Confidant

We like to complain about not finding the qualities we seek in those who are close to us and how we can’t risk confiding in them. Have we looked at ourselves in retrospect and ask ourselves whether we would trust ourselves as our confidant. We need a reality check. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Consciousness

We have to be consciously aware of our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. Words that leave our lips are like fallen leaves which are blown hither and thither by the winds. They can’t be retrieved. We have to think on everything we think, say and do. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Money

When our love for money overrides all of our principles the question is not whether we can be bought but how much are we willing to auction ourselves off for. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Unity

Unity is paramount. Disunity creates fissures through our collective fabric. When there are fissures it opens the way for individual sanctions. People are attracted to the weak, those who isolate themselves. They are deterred by those who have chosen to coalesce. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Lens

We see people and situations through our own lens. Our experiences dictates our focus. Putting our preconceived notions aside allows us to view things in a different light. We have to be prepared to give grace. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023
