Self Worth

Losing our dignity and our values in pursuit of a love interest is a futile endeavour. A broken person cannot advocate on their own behalf. We have to bring ourselves in our fullness to everything we invite into our lives. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

On Call

If you are always on call for your friends and loved ones but they are not on call for you, prioritize yourself and be attendant to you. Self matters. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Cleansing

We have to cleanse our mind of negative emotions. Our face paints a picture of how happy or sad we are. That’s an inkling for other disingenuous people to take advantage of us. Focus on the things that stimulate growth. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Love

Taking time to be with ourselves, to love, cherish, appreciate and honour ourselves is necessary. To love others we have to first be in love with ourselves. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Duplicity

People can be duplicitous. We should call it out when we see it, so that they can self correct. The person we misuse might be the only one available to us in our hour of need. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

God

The statement “Ye are Gods” is referenced in both the Old and New Testament. Some of us take it literally, while others take it allegorically. Interpretation is the boogeyman. We are only God unto ourselves and no one else. Feel free to differ. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Reality

We do not shape the reality outside of us. It is fashioned by those who assume a totalitarian idealism. What we see is what it is. No shade. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023
