Time
Time is expendable, it can’t be bought or traded. We need to manage how we spend our time, what we invest it in and avoid squandering it. Our time is more valuable than money and its accoutrements. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Entitlement
Who are we to believe that we ought to live at the expense of our extended family members? Sowers don’t sow so that reapers can reap. We can emulate our family members but refrain from sponging. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025
Compulsion to Know
We have to let go of the need to insert ourselves in other people’s business. The only business we should be invested in is our own business. Dwelling on someone else’s success or failure robs us of the ability to carve our own success story. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025
Family
Bloodline isn’t the basis of family. We can be maligned, and misused by those we consider to be our family. Deception has no boundary. Disentangling ourselves from our amoral family is the perfect antidote. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

The world is full of expansionistic pundits, we are bombarded with pictures showcasing what success looks like, a life full of lucre and excesses. Attachment

Belief
If one of our core beliefs is dependent upon cheating and exploitation, how does that benefit us long term? Behaving this way only casts us as a scoundrel, a cheat, and a person who has no moral compass. Money without integrity showcases our imbecility. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025
Justice
The scale that weighs justice is skewed towards showing deference to those who are considered superior and irreverence towards those who are considered to be inferior. Bedlam seems to be the order of the day. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025
