Freedom

True freedom is the shedding of our addiction to prestige, money and lifestyle. Being free is not a singular state of being. Freedom has to be inclusive and not exclusive. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

ToolBox

We need a toolbox with tools in our lives. Our tools have to include a space for respite. Intuition, self respect, moral compass, determination, honesty and accountability are all tools that we need to include in our toolbox. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

A known Fact

There are no secrets surrounding our conception and our expiration. It’s all magical from beginning to end. We couldn’t craft it, but in the space between our beginning and our ending is where we have the opportunity to do our part in creating peace on earth. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

All Ears

We learn life lessons by listening and observing people as they are speaking to us. Sometimes the expression on their faces tells us more of what they are thinking than the actual words they are speaking. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Growth

We have to facilitate growth in our lives instead of traversing aimlessly throughout our lives. Without growth we will all be stymied. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Assumptions

We can’t assume, based on our own values, what a person’s standing is. People aren’t caricatures, they are individuals and we can’t assign behavioural patterns to them, based on their lineage. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021

Empathy is a Choice

Being an empath is a personal choice. Living without judgment and seeing ourselves in the throes of others can be the fuel that transforms us from spectator to ally. © Norms Bobb-Semple 2021

Mirror Image

We are our ancestors. Like the image in a mirror what we reflect is who we are. We can fudge it, refute it, or dismiss it, but if our work mirrors that of our ancestors we can’t deny it. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2021
