Belief

If one of our core beliefs is dependent upon cheating and exploitation, how does that benefit us long term? Behaving this way only casts us as a scoundrel, a cheat, and a person who has no moral compass. Money without integrity showcases our imbecility. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Justice

The scale that weighs justice is skewed towards showing deference to those who are considered superior and irreverence towards those who are considered to be inferior. Bedlam seems to be the order of the day. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Writing

What do you enjoy most about writing? Writing brings to life the muse that lives within me. It’s like mining, I continuously keep digging, and when I find that lode I realize that I have just skimmed the surface and that lying latent within me is a treasure trove of ideas waiting to be birthed. Vision

We have got to become visionaries, mapping our lives is essential to our well being. Jealousy distorts our vision, we become fixated on what others are accomplishing instead of focusing on bringing into existence that which is stagnant within us. We rob ourselves of oxygen by looking without instead of within. Fulfilling our own needs […]

Endings

Without endings new beginnings are negligible. Life is cyclical, change occurs in all of our lives. We can only adapt, there is nothing else we can do about it. Letting go of the past and allowing change to enrich our lives is the only antidote that can bring us to a place of reverence and […]

Exposing One’s Self

Why do we need to hide behind screens? Why do we have different personas depending on who we need to represent ourselves as? Do we have to have our curtains drawn in an effort to hide who we really are? A person who is not honest with himself cannot be honest with anyone else? Be […]

Destination

Where do we envision ourselves being, what is our intended destination? Life is not all about fun and games, it is about being true to our purpose. If we can’t uncover what our purpose is, it is time for some self reflection. In the meantime don’t harm the indefensible. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Obeisance

Obeisance isn’t a doctrine. No mortal should ask another mortal to be in complete obeisance to him/her. It is immoral and preposterous to expect full allegiance when there aren’t any guarantees. We have to master ourselves, know who we are and develop a moral compass if we don’t already have one. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Objectifiable

People love to be objectified, they crave attention, access to the rich, and an insatiable appetite for money and status. This is why human trafficking would never cease, we are too simpleminded to ask of the recruiter: How does this benefit you? Caution should always at the forefront of our minds. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025

Fear

Fear casts a shadow while truth exudes veracity. How we behave under stress opens an aperture to our character: Are we showcasing asininity or deleteriousness? Self judgement is critical at all times. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2025
