Let Go

We are always miffed about people not showing up, owning up, lying or playing dumb. If we have these types of people in our lives it is time to let them go. We are responsible for our actions and no one else’s. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Change

Have we parsed the things that excites us, makes us throw all of our decorum to the wind. Ultimately, does our undoing help us or does it assassinate our character. Change is possible, for every situation is redeemable. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Remorse

One cannot be remorseful if hatred has stolen his heart. One cannot feel another’s anguish and pain if they only see them as ghosts. We show our vacuousness through our interactions with all living, and sentient beings. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Purpose

Are we invested in our purpose? We came to do the work we were sent to do in this lifetime. If we neglect to do our duty we would be denying our brothers and sisters from being beneficiaries of our gifts. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Change

We can only change ourselves. What other people do with their lives is of no concern to us unless it affects us in a negative way, and if it does we have to remember that parting ways is the only option. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Light

Is the light burning bright in our lives or are we overshadowed by darkness? The keeper of the light is us. We must tend it so that it never goes out. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Showing Up

Do we show up for ourselves or are we playing to the jealousy of others? Life is not a shop window, we aren’t on display. We have to be about our own business for time is like a train, it is in movement and if we don’t hop on, all we will be left with […]

Thoughts

What’s keeping us up at nights? Is it an appetite for living a life of service or is it our compulsion to gather what we haven’t sowed? Every seed regenerates according to its own kind. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023

Choose

Who’s on our mind? The only person we should be concerned primarily about is ourselves and those we consider family. Family is earned, it isn’t a right of passage. The quality of our lives is dependent on the people we choose to be associated with. © Norma Bobb-Semple 2023
